Why waterless manicures and pedicures?
A benefit to dry manicuring and pedicuring is the use of little to no water. It is worth noting that water opens up pores in the skin and therefore; the risks of passing along waterborne illnesses from client to client is signicaficantly higher. The illnesses includes any bacterial, fungal or viral spreads. Overall, dry manicuring and pedicuring offers a quicker, more hygienic, and convenient way to maintain and care for the nails and skin.

How do I know what nail art add-on to choose?
Reach out to Velvet Nail Lounge prior to your appointment if you are unsure. We would love to help you book the right amount of time.
how do i take care of my manicure?
We recommend you always wear rubber gloves when washing dishes, cleaning with harsh chemicals, and not using your nails as tools. Moisturizing your hands and applying cuticle oil to your cuticle and nails, will get you the most out of your manicure.
Do you need an appointment or can i walk in?
We highly suggest that you make an appointment online, via email, text or phone call. If you wanted to do a walk-in, it is recommended that you call day of to check.
DO YOU REMOVE PRODUCT FROM OTHER SALONS?
Yes! Whether you are an existing client or new client visiting Velvet Nail Lounge; there will be an additional charge on top your service for the removal that was done at a different salon.
What is luminary?
Multi-Flex Gel is a soak-able soft gel with the strength of acrylic and flexibility of hard gel that creates manicures that LAST. Ideal for growing out natural nails, Luminary's gel is a universal base that allows for techs to apply only one product to create a beautiful structured manicure, overlays, extensions, and gel manicures. Featuring beautiful pink, nude, a few color shades, clear, black, and white, Luminary's line is the base and color in one, though all pure gel colors can be applied on top of the Multi-Flex Gel.
